Comments:

One word comes to mind -- anticlimactic. Spoiled by decent sporadic-E activity
for the ARRL test in June, I was hoping and anticipating that conditions would
be similar or better for this one. Of course I didn't bother to check out any
propogation predictions.

Saturday was a total bust for sporadic-E. I don't think I logged anything
from here in Ohio other than ground wave and tropo. By the end of my
adventure last night I had no plans to get back on today. After all, Sunday
is family day.

I did end up jumping back on for a brief period Sunday afternoon to find some
sporadic-E to the south. My farthest catches were 9Y4D and CO2WF, but I heard
a TI beacon, as well as a TI station on SSB who I wasn't able to work.

Operating hours were way more than the 4:03 that N1MM claimed. I spent
considerable time searching as well as CQing into the abyss. I heard nothing
at all from the west or southeast. Saturday evening I briefly heard a couple
VE stations, one of which tried to make a contact with me but I couldn't pull
them out. And I did barely year a W1 station around the same time.

Hope things are more exciting for the next 6m contest.
