Band was OK on 20m, however deep QSB, and signals go from almost unreadable to
40 over in a matter of seconds.. very strange propagation.. Had a good start on
20 and 40, but then 80m was BAD, my temporary beverage setup came apart, AND I
had RF on the audio, so had to re-cable, AND resolder while operating, NOT a
good thing to do.. scrambled to get things back together, and it worked after
giving up about 10 minutes.. 40m was VERY noisy tonite, thank goodness for
beverages or it would have really been bad.. Great job KA9FOX, NR5M, K7SS,
W9RE, and others!
Seems there was some more participation this running as compared to February,
so thats good news, but still not up to where it should be.. at least going the
right direction!.
Lots of numbers 1-10 given out by others, so thats encouraging that new folks
are getting on, and many asking for the exchange info, etc.. so happy to see
that.
