Comments:

First, let me thank Kinoshita-sama JA1AHS/JA8CCL for letting me borrow his
excellent station. Kinoshita was a great host.

I was unable to start the contest until almost 12 hours after it began. Here,
the contest begins at 9am on a Saturday, so you can imagine that missing those
precious several hours of daylight and the Saturday opening to Europe had a big
impact on my score.

Ten was in great shape. I was amazed at the Long Path openings to Europe.
Japan to Europe the long way 'round is a very long path indeed, 30,000km or
more, and a few signals fron Europe were amazingly loud. Openings to the
Americas were also very good. As usual, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, at
Japan's antipode, were almost always audible if the band was open in any
direction. Some of the runs to Canada and the US were very good, with 206/hour
for the last 90 minutes of the contest.

Rig: Yaesu FT-1000MP MkV + Yaesu VL-1000 amp
Antenna: 7el Yagi up 25m
