Wow, bands were in great shape here, especially 80 meters where signals were
loud and noise was low. Of course, running QRP I lost a lot of jump balls, and
had few answers to CQs, but overall it went very well and I had a great time!!
Thanks to NP2X, NP4Z, KL7RA for some surprise DX mults. QRP usually doesn't
attract the mults, so was happy with 45. Mults missed include LA, ME, ND, NE,
RI, SC, UT, VT, WV, VE2/4/5/6/8. Never heard any of these.
I really hope many of you will dust off your mic and join us for the SSB Sprint
next Saturday night. Participation (and FUN) was way up in September, and I
hope the trend continues. The more sprinters, the more fun everyone has.
Please help out if you can and make a few QSOs (even better, do the full 4
hrs!)
Speaking of SSB Sprint, a reminder to try to use 3760-3790, rather than trying
to squeeze into "PF" territory 3800-3840. 3760-3790 worked so much better in
September.
