Comments:
It seems almost every contact was a multiplier since the rules said:
5.2 Multipliers: (Count per band/mode)
5.2.1 Non-Louisiana stations: Louisiana parishes (64 possible per
band/mode)
I worked W3DYA(with his flying saucer antennas) in 80% of the counties on both
40 and 80M - two 'band' multipliers. Missed him in ACAD while at dinner, and
band faded for last few on 40M - got too long from TX to LA. so for many
county - two multipliers - 1 for 40, one for 80. 39 contacts and 37
multipliers. Thanks Norm for burning the gas, now at $3.50/gal, to run those
counties.
Caught KU5B/m on 40M until he pulled the plug due to antenna/rig problems
around noon. Noted he was running on 21 and 7, but not 20m. Still caught lots
of new counties on 80M that were 'new'.
Found the Bonus Station on 40 SSB for the 100 point bonus. One contact on
20m, rest on 40/80.
Rig: LP to an inverted vee on 40M up 28 feet in the middle, and an R5 20m
vertical used on 80M (poor but worked).
