LONG LIVE CW!!!
Thanks for the three USA stations who asked me, (paraphrasing) "what are you
doing on SSB, Tom"?
Really terrible band conditions all day long on Saturday. Did anyone get a
decent EU run going at all? I sure didn't & didn't hear anyone who did. MANY
thanks go out to the guys who flew down and operated from the Caribbean!!!
Without you guys I (we) sure would have been in a pickle trying to find
stations to work on Saturday.
Sunday morning was a different story. I got good European runs going on 15 &
20 meters.
I was called by no less than 55 USA stations (no joke) during the first 2
hours of the contest. What's up with this? Obviously some people have
absolutely no clue as to what's going on. Kinda frustrating.
I stopped on QSO #888 because it looked on the monitor like a cool number to
QRT with. Better than 666, right?
Once again ND proves to be a great place to operate 'tests from. Had the EU
boys all whipped up into a lather Sunday morning when the bands were semi
OK............I'm in the process of constructing a World Class contesting
station here & all are welcome to visit & use it 100% FREE OF CHARGE after it's
completion. Please see my info (propaganda) on QRZ.com regarding it's progress.
Once again, as always:
************ I contest for the FUN of it from here in North Dakota & not to
collect any awards, plaques or "wallpaper". I use my general logging program to
track the total number of QSO's & leave it at that. This is why I have no
information regarding my total number of mults or a final score. ************
See ya in the next 'test...............Please listen for me in the ND QSO Party
in 2 weeks from now.
