Comments:
Only had a few hours available to operate /4 @ Topsail Island, Pender County,
NC. TS-850A, Hustler 4BTV vertical. Antenna worked great clamped to our
floating dock with about 10 miles of open salt water SW and NE across the
sound. However the vertical was very noisy for Rx making copy difficult with
this radio so couldn't run much. VK's and Pac LOUD on 40M. Late EU opening (if
it ever opened at all!) killed any hopes for RU mults. Worked the only EU of
Sunday morning at 1159Z! No antennas for 160/80.
