Comments:
A very humble station here that radiates 100w of RF through an inv vee for 40m.
Yet a simple outdoor antenna is better than an indoor antenna, and is way, way
better than no antenna! There were others with much compromised operating condx
so my casual (poor!) effort doesn't actually mean much. Posting here for fun
anyway.
On the contest-
You know 15m is in terrific shape when you,
* can hear JAs past 1230z
* can hear W7s past 11pm local
* can hear South America past 10am local
and actually manage to put them in your log.
When all of the above happens and you only have 100 contacts to show through
packet-assisted S&Ping, you should dismiss all notions about yourself as a
budding contester.
Lesson learnt.
