Saturday very slow at beginning and then got better after the first 3 hours,
operated until thunderstorms and severe lightning came into the area at 0330Z
hours, pulled the plug to everything.. Back on at 1255 UTC Sunday morning,
conditions much better all day long except for the 2000Z hour, only 2 Q's, took
an hour break as conditions shut down.. Otherwise good propagation to
EM,DM,CN,FM,FN,EN during the day.. Very little to EL grid.
The evening opening to FN, FM, and EN was unbelievable, had huge runs for a few
hours.
Worked some DX but no Europe including HI3W,C6,XE,KH6, although got a report of
a UT station hearing me at 1630 UTC Sunday morning while I was either pointing
ESE or West.. likely the ESE route.
Activity on 2m and up bands was slow, given strong 6m conditions for most of
the test. Did get some Es on 2m to FN grids Sunday evening, that was GREAT
fun.!
Thanks all for the Q's, really appreciate it, without 6m out here in central SD
its a very quiet contest! Also very enjoyable to work the NS Sprint regulars,
thanks guys, its fun to put a voice to the CW!!
