My first contest. I used a Yaesu FT-450AT with a Heil Proset Plus headset and
the HC-4 mic element, into a homebrewed New Carolina Windom cut for 75 meters
at 25 ft. My son Andy (W2EBB) went Rover so that I could get a few VHF/UHF
contacts. Can't wait for September! Scott Webb W1EBB.
