Comments:

Where does one start.....

Built the Clifton Labs 1-30Mc preamp this week- Works VY FB on the beverages
tonight.

Decided to calibrate the 'ol Green Heron Wednesday, but when attempted- bearing
was unknowingly ~50 degrees off, over-spun it and yanked the SteppIR controller
wires out... :{
Climbed up after work today and assessed the situation, another climb req'd
after a couple days recovery- its stuck on 15m so all may not be lost!

Had a telephone meeting for the WRTC field testing for the IARU, We shall be
operating one of the test sites. So far so gg.... awesome!

Tried to get on the RTTY Sprint, but found that all PTT was going to Rig 1.
Tried WinTest and N1MM, both with same results--- keying to R1, but the rtty
output was OK if I manually TX Radio 2.... Updated N1MM, and found that there
is a new way to program the macros (ARRGH!) figured that out and sure enough
still did not work- Rebooted PC... nope.... partway through the SNS I
downloaded and re-flashed the YCCC SO2R+ Box and all again is well in the
world. Seems flipping through Contest loggers and RTTY windows sent things
into a tizzy....

Used the kinda-new 80m half-loop-square (Converted the Zepp) for 20m and 160m
tonight. Dont know how good- was using the beverage/preamp. I felt loud on
20m for sure. Miss the beam already. Good 20m score though.

Really looking forward to field day this weekend. Will be at K1MUJ in CT...
Maybe try satellite or something...

Thanks for letting me vent guys!

JayMA
