Comments:
first time for me to enter EU HF and it was fun to be part of the game.
Only 1 radio this time as QSY-rule doesnÂ't allow too much use of 2nd radio
anyway.
Unfortunatelly low bands suffered from severe QRN due to thunderstorms and I
have no receive antennas here(yet).
Somehow high bands were quite slow, but things improved, when it got to 40m.
160 is quite bad here at the moment using just a windom antenna.
first time to use a surf stick and it was more ore less stable. Only got
disconnected once.
Interesting to see SuadÂ's score being almost the same, just 1000 points
difference. How close it sometimes ends up!
Congrats to Fabio for beating us all in EU2 and also to all high scorers.
4ele SteppIR had just 2 elements running as Dir1 EHU is out of order in the
moment and in that case Dir2 doesnÂ't have any effect.
Still a lot of work to do :-)
