Comments:
Weather on the Central Coast of California was RadioSport prime time with clear
blue skies and a temperature peaking in the low seventies. It was four hours of
listening to and logging the music of Morse code. My 15m start was fast and
furious peaking at 70 plus Qs in the first hour. I enjoyed logging K6MM when he
sent number 64 as we were tied at that particular moment in the game. However,
later in the event, MM was ahead by 40 plus. I'm practicing, practicing,
practicing.
Interesting note, started 40m in Session 1 and ended 40m during Session 2
because, 20m rate fell dramatically late in the afternoon. Many thanks goes out
to our NCCC KBers who went into the log in the last 30 minutes of the Open. It
was a difference maker.
