Rig:Ten Tec OMNI VII
AMP: Ameritron ALS-600 (400 to 500 watts - 90 watts on 10)
ANT: 53 M center fed flat top at 17 M (all bands)
Overall very good conditions allowed some nice runs on 15 and 40 meters. I only
had a few hours to play so I tried to maximize Q's when I was on to the expense
of multipliers. I averaged 81 Q's per hour for the time I was on - not bad for
a piece of wire in the trees for an antenna.
Overall I had a lot of fun and even worked one or two new ones. I worked 2
Chinese stations which, while not new, are still exciting for me to work since
I have worked very few of them over the years.
