Yaesu FT-857D @100 wts to Cushcraft MA5V vertical; Sunday - switched to T.T.
Paragon for better receive audio. Lot's of fun - even with bad conditions and
my compromise antenna. The band was volatile enough that I never knew what
station might suddenly pop up. Lots of good operators. Still surprised at how
many QSOs other stations could rack up while I struggled. Good job to those
operators!
Next year...CW and SSB!
