Comments:
I wasn't in the mood for a VHF contest - just swept the bands a few times giving
out the rare MD mult to the deserving. Was on for some spotlight propagation to
southern Italy, but there appeared to be a big diode at the equator: lots of
loud SA stations just CQed in my face during that same period. It is pretty bad
when YV8ADI just keeps CQing.
Now the question is: will this be the norm for the 10m Contest for the next
decade, or will 2013 bring one more year with the band filled with signals from
every direction?
