Whew! Amazing condx here at my frozen QTH. I expect we'll see some record
breaking scores this year. For my part, I achieved two of my longstanding NAQP
goals: more than 1000 Q's and a score above 200K, so I'm a happy camper.
What a rush! I got the rate meter up to 300 and regularly had it over 200. I
wonder if that will ever happen again. Amazingly -- because it has literally
never happened before -- I was able to make a reasonable number of contacts on
80m and was able to reach mults better than I ever have before.
I didn't try moving anyone. I was too busy having fun with rate most of the
time. I did some S&P trolling for mults a bit, though, and that really helped
the score.
Here's hoping I get to experience another NAQP as fun as this one. Thanks for
all the Q's and go Wire Nuts!
