Comments:
Turned things on at the last minute and everything looked and sounded normal but
I could only make one contact (thanks Todd) on 40 and nobody else seemed to hear
me. The remote was giving a weird echo and didn't sound normal. 80 was the
same. W1UJ came back to me once but couldn't copy my exchange. I restarted
both of the remote boxes and my laptop and things seem to be working okay now.
N8EA gave me a report after the end of the contest, so I guess I'm back in
business. Maybe the cold WX in Ohio affected the remote radio.
Will find out if things are back to normal this weekend.
Maybe this sets a new record for low score?
