Probably spent too much time tuning for multipliers. Operated S&P mode for 45%
of the total QSOs.
Western USA stations were rather sparse much of the time. Good rates on Friday
night, but rates were much slower on Saturday. Could not get any good extended
CQ runs going the second day. Lost CQ frequencies several times due to being
LP and getting â??bulliedâ?? by HP encroaching CQers not asking QRL? and others
not moving if I replied yes to QRL? Part of the territory with LP at times.
Worked 48 contiguous states plus a few DC stations and three KH6, but never
heard KL7. Only worked 6 Canadian sections -- missed NS, NF, LB, MB, SK, NT,
YT, and NU.
DX was much better the second day. A very good opening to EU on Saturday night
-- earlier that a shorter opening on Friday night. Operated at my sunrise both
days, but never heard any JA, VK, or ZL stations.
DX worked (no AF or AS):
NA: 9 QSOs (7 countries)
6Y3M, FM5BH, FM5CD, HI0UD, KV4FZ, V31YN, XE1RCS, XE2S, and ZF2BJ
SA: 4 QSOs (3 countries) ; CE1/K7CA, HK1R, HK3O, and PJ2T
OC: 3 QSOs (1 country) ; KH6CC, KH6LC, and KH7X
EU: 26 QSOs (14 countries)
CT, DL (5), EA, EI (3), ES, F (2), G (4), OK/OL (3), OM, ON, OZ, S5, SP, and
UT.
