Comments:

Conditions on both days were very poor. Worked a few "G" stations the first
night at their sunrise. JA was not too bad but the band was noisy. Many of the
regular Asia stations were down by 30 db and couldn't work the HL. The east
coast was weak.

Second night was worse except for a surprise opening to Europe. It started at
0608z and closed at 0716Z. Europeans were S9! Worked 15 different European
countries during that period! Saved the contest for us. No JA except for a few
at my sunrise and that's really poor from here.

Always a pleasure to watch Tom, W8TK (PJ2T operator) running the pileups. It's
magic to see.
