Comments:
The antenna was set few weeks prior contest, with a clear intention of operating
multi operator (2 that is) and high power. I became single op few days before
contest due friend's business assignment. And heavy snowfall almost prevented
me from attending, as walking final 500m through forest, covered with 70cm of
untouched snow took about 45min. That is the point, when i became low power, as
the amplifier was too heavy to reach the summit, carried by a single person.
Luckily the inverted v was strong enough to hold all the snow, being 5cm in
diameter.
Croud contest with hefty pileups, exhausting for low power. Enjoyed it in spite
of all the difficulties.
