Comments:

Thanks to the FMRE for sponsoring the Contest. Thanks also to for all the QSOs
with new and old friends. Appreciate all.

What was that S5-9 noise on 15 meters this morning local time (~1230Z)? Was
that local noise or some kind of broad band HF noise? 1230Z was when I started
to operate this morning so not sure how long before then the noise was on
blasting away on 15 meters. Whatever it was or where ever it was coming from
it seemed to suddenly go away ~1215Z. Once the noise disappeared, had a nice
run of relatively strong 15 m signals from Europe.

Bands in general were okay. Kept looking for some indication of activity on 10
m, but never saw any. Seemed like the upper bands were not as good as in the
BARTG Sprint. Still there was nice participation and plenty of stations
whenever I had the opportunity to operate.

Hope to see all in the WPX RTTY next weekend.

  73,
  Mike, K4GMH
