Comments:
Aurora on the Polar path to Europe was fierce on Saturday. Impossible to copy EU
ops sending at 40 wpm through it - pse QRS, guys.
YE1ZGT came out of nowhere, 589 on the 20M long path - nice surprise!
JAs saved our bacon yet again - first on 10m, then we all moved down to 15,
then to 20. Very good ops, and they gave us some half-decent runs. Thanks,
guys!
A surprising number of JAs were QRP, many also new to contesting. I enjoyed
giving them a hand.
The Optibeam 16-3 did a FB job on 10-15-20 for us, but the 40m endfed sloper
isn't competitive.
We'll have to get something better up for next year!
