Comments:

I've put this score together as much as I can. With five minutes left to go in
the contest we had two power blips. Restarted the computer and the log file
was gone. Have been working on disk recovery ever since. A big thank you to
N6TR and W8LVN for advice and assistance. There are still some Q's missing at
the beginning and end of my log, but I don't think there's enough to beat K0DQ
in there!

If I had to lose my log in a contest, the best time for it to happen was 2355z.
If it would have happened any earlier I would have had to quit.

Had a blast in this one, especially with the low bands so good Friday night.
Still, I couldn't get through to most of the EU I heard Friday night. Never
did get IO5O, even when I was the last one calling. Must have called him for 5
or 6 minutes straight. On the other hand, everyone heard me on 80 OK.

Second night brought everything down to earth. Had precip static for most of
the night -- was the worst on 80m, where I really couldn't do much and I ended
up sleeping instead. 40 was really slow until suddenly it came to life at 0700
when with the beam turned to JA I was running both EU and JA very fast.

10m was obviously the big disappointment here -- but I am starting to get used
to it. To say I never ran EU would be an understatement -- I hardly even heard
it! Even JA was poor -- a few loud guys but no rate to speak of.

The excellent JA activity continues to make the contests fun out here. Thank
you Japan!

Congratulations to K5GN, N2IC and W6YI(N6MJ) for great scores.
