Comments:
FT-2000 with Heil ProSet/Mic; N1MM logging program; A3S 10/15/20 Beam on a 40'
tower; 268' wire loop for 40/80 at 30' on AT-1000Pro LDG Autotuner. First ever,
"go for score" attempt - and had a BLAST!! The bands were open from time to
time, and worked some great DX, including JT5, TX5, ZD7, and a few other "kinda
rare" stations. Generally, 10m was "OK", and 15 and 20 provided most of the
long haul stuff....20 was open pretty late affording some good points. I hoped
for more on 80M, but still had fun. Next year I'll have "something" to get n
160M....I know I missed out on some points and mults both nights.....won't let
that happen again!! All in all a great weekend of ham radio contesting! Hope
