Comments:
Played around a bit from the little pistol home station in between visitors (aka
grand kids!). First time I have operated SSB in quite a long time. Recent
hoarse-ness and stopped-up sinuses made for fun operating! Missed out on later
evening and night time operation on 40/80.
Now that I've operated a few times from this "new" home station it sounds I
have some work to do with utility co. Static is horrible. Being this is a very
old part of Dallas I'm thinking the old 1940-ish overhead power distribution
probably could use a bit of cleaning up.
