Comments:
Wow! Despite the ominous propagation forecasts and challenging conditions,
I was delighted to be able to work WAS, and have a
memorable -on the air,
experience with fellow contesters.
- Saturday slightly better than Saturday.
- Due to high SWR on low bands, I worked with only 100 watts on 40 and
80.
- Seeing the on-line competition on http://cqcontest.ru helped me to
keep my
motivation high. I wish more people in.
- Exhilarating last 6 hours (pumping adrenaline like crazy), running
at 100
Qâ??s/hour.
- 10M: The best band. Good condx, but not as a good as 2011
- 15M: Less Q's, although more multipliers.
- 20M: 75% of the Q's obtained on this band were obtained on the last
hour.
I found a tight spot that was rewarded with more than 100 Q's
and 20
multipliers!
This allowed me to soar my score and reach the 700K points mark.
- 40M: Low operating time and the worst band.
- 80M Also not much time here. Nice surprise to get more Q's than
40M.
