Comments:

First time for me using VO1RAC HQ and certainly added a level of excitement
going in. During the times when things were fast moving I had visions of
cracking 1000 Q's but alas it was not to be. It was a struggle for me to stay
with it during the lean hours late in the contest. The noise level on 80M
during the wee hours made each Q an effort. Apologies to G3MPW whose report I
could not complete .... 8?. Despite the facilities of the K3 just couldn't
pull it out. I hate leaving a person hanging but finally had to move on.

Using N1MM I discovered on the first QSO with VO1TA that he was greyed out. The
rules say HQ station can work anyone. So whats up with that...there does not
appear to be any place to designate that you are an HQ station. I didn't enter
HQ in the exchnge field on the log setup screen just had the serial number
there and placed HQ in the macros. The Setup pages talk about if you work an
HQ station ...but no mention if you are the HQ station.

Overall I enjoyed the contest very much and would like to than Radio Amateurs
of Canada for allowing me to use the call sign.
