2013 -- SFI = 126 | A = 20 > 40 | K = 2 > 5
Things were bad on Friday night, brutally poor on Saturday, and so miserable
Sunday that I considered selling off all my gear seeing as the RF spectrum
appears to be broken beyond repair.
Worst HP outing ever, and even worse than 2004 LP.
Did not have a good time, being locked out of any access to Europe. Had to work
very hard for just about every QSO, even domestic stuff.
Love the scoring in this one but truly despise the three-hour minimum break
rule. When conditions are this bad, it's no fun sitting around waiting for one
or two more hours to click by when there is a sudden band opening somewhere. It
forces lots of break strategy, but this quirky rule doesn't do anything to
increase the fun-factor.
Thanks to BARTG for the contest, and to all for the contacts.
