Comments:
My K3 died 6 hours into the contest while quietly running 5 watts! Apologies to
K7UT for failing to complete the QSO. No RX, no TX. This poor rig has already
been back to the factory four times in 5 years! Too much salt spray from
Pacific DXpeditions I guess!
So after considerable grumbling and a long break, I dusted off my old K2 which
had been sitting on a shelf for the last 8 years. I never did find the
computer interface cable, so sent the last 7 hours by hand.
