I ran an ICOM 7000 into a pair of phased hamsticks.
I was amazed at how few 7 stations could actually hear me, when I was
able to reach Europe and the E.coast that weekend. Was my hamstick signal
actually skipping over the 7th call area?
Overall I was disappointed in the turnout; especially on 40 and 80
(where I heard NO 7QP stations).
