Comments:
This was a S&P effort using QRP. Grandson graduation and other activities
made my operating time short. The A-Index ranged from 19 to 35 over the weekend
adding extra challenge to QRP power. The objective was to see if I could make 50
DXCC contacts. Came up short with 49 but it was fun. The longest QSO distance
was to New Zealand, approx 8800 miles. Hard to believe my 5 watts and a
vertical loop antenna could do that. I used the FT2000, 40 meter delta loop
antenna. Thanks to all who answered my calls. See you in the next log. 73
