I had fun in the contest - conditions were kind of flat on the high bands and
spotty on 6 meters but making 700 contacts on six meters could hardly be called
'bad' conditions. It was not that many years ago that 700 contacts on 6 meters
would be huge.
I was disappointed in the lack of activity out of the DFW area - and in light
of my newest band (1296) I was disappointed in not having a few more contacts
on that band. But there is always next time.
