Comments:
This was my first NAQP CW contest! Mixed running on 40m with S&P on
80,20,15&10.
Running an ancient IC-730 with 40M dipole at 25'. Very tough to get through the
crowd with the tuner & wires. Using a P&P logging program...that's pen
& paper with keyer...the classic approach. Does anyone else still use this
"program"?
Had an opportunity to work an old friend WN4KKN(N5KO). Last contact with Trey
was in 1977! I had a great 8 hours and looking forward the next one, hopefully
with a better antenna on the high bands! 73's Dave WN4AFP
