Comments:
This was my first single OP participation from southern Africa.
It�'s hard to compete with the North African contest locations
from so far south but I was eager to give it a try.
Conditions were not very promising the week before the contest but
I was rewarded with good openings on 10 and 15 m both days of the
contest weekend. 80 and 40 m were not very noisy and it was a pleasure
to run the huge pile ups.
Due to luggage limitations I brought only one K3 and some antenna
switching hardware, notebook etc. 2 radios would sure have helped for
a higher multiplier score.
Big thanks go to Ursi and Martin for luxury accommodation an letting me
use this great station.
