Comments:

Had a lot of fun and interesting but not great condx. One CQ generated a 40
minute pile-up and for this 100-watt, normally S&P operator, that was
really fun. But the biggest thrill was on 80. I managed to work HB30OK and
then started calling CQ. After working a couple of close-in stations I watched
as the signal came up and a callsign materialized out of the grable - it was
Costy IC8TEM! It took us a few tries to exchange our info but we made it. His
roof-top vertical must have a great ground plane because it works! All I have
here for 80 is an interted-vee and no room for some of the receive antennas I
dream about. After that QSO I heard very little Europe on 80.

When I submitted my log via the robot, the score that it sent back to me was
much different than the one above which is what N1MM calculated. Either way,
it was a good time on the radio!
