Comments:
Got on for the last two hours, had other commitments on previous days.
Band opened to JA about 2220z Sunday. Prop was poor, loudest sigs only S6.
Missed many calling in the S5 power line noise; K3 NB made it possible to log
29 Qs.
There were four contest operations from Radio Oakley this weekend:
NR6O op JN3JFQ/K1GI, 15m SB All Asian SSB; Masa broke the 12 year NA record.
K3EST 40m SB All Asian SSB; Bob fought thru the Russian Radar both nights.
N6RO NA SPRINT CW; dizzy from pain meds.
N6RO 10m SB All Asian SSB; feeling much better on Sunday.
temp. was in the high 90s Sat & Sun. thank goodness for the A/C in the
shack!
It was a busy week and weekend here. K7NV and K6NA installed a prop-pitch rotor
on a 20m antenna and a 6m 7L LFA on the 10m tower. Thanks to K6AW, K3EST, and
N6BV for ground help. Everything works (so far)!
