Comments:

Strange propagation. Excellent at times but many hours of almost nothing coming
through. Ten meters appeared to be open a fair amount of the time but likely a
lot of stations were simply QRX doing other things and other bands. 15 was
very good from VK3 to EU and 40 was so good to EU at local sunrise that the
large pileups prevented good scoring rates. Too many callers can be the price
of good propagation at times! Hi

My log indicates that the usual contest super stations were QRT in this event
and from the generally weak signals and low serial numbers received I suspect
most participants are running LP with modest antennas looking for OC DX rather
than running up big contest scores. It's good to see so many new callsigns
appearing in this contest. I am very happy to provide VK to those looking for
new band/mode and DXCC's and hope my calls brought a few smiles.

Thanks to all who waited for me to copy in the noise/QRM/QSB. It wasn't easy
this weekend! I appreciate every QSO.

73 to all
Steve VK3TDX
