Comments:
My J-38 key has been missing since I set up in Oakley 35 years ago; my 1948 bug,
given to me by an Elmer in '52, is broken. I need to send it to Vibroplex for
rehab.
So tonite, I just used hand-keying with the paddle, not quite key/bug, but I
realized how rusty I was using the paddle-keyer. More fun tonite without the
SO2R computer macros. Not used to moving hands from keybored to paddle!
RTTY NS: I didn't get much response on continuing the RTTY version, after a
poor turnout last week. I suspect some were fatigued by the JARTS test this
past weekend, so a week off was needed.
But I need a 30 min. dose of RTTY to remember how to do it. So next week,
let's begin again with a DUPES OK RTTY NS at 0130Z for 30 min., continuing
until the next possible RY Ladder in 2014.
