Comments:
This was a very difficult and exhausting competition !
This summer we made two new antennas (10 & 20m) on our contest location, so
I used this CQ WW to test at least one of them. Just a couple days ago i was
wondering wheather I should be SB 10m or 20m, and decidet to be on 20m which
was obviously a mistake. Conditions on 20m were satisfactory but I have a
feeling that all the other competitors were on 10m during day time, and on the
other hand I did not have good conditions during night time.
Our new 5 el. on 22m tower for 20m has fullfiled my expectations. I have
successefully handeld with far better stations with more&biggest antennas.
The HIGHLIGHT of this contest were when RI1ANP answered to my CQing at 18z
secont day and give me double mults, when I had alleready given up ZONE 39 and
thought then will not complete all 40 :)
The wierdest part of this whole experience were the conseqences from the lack
of sleep which manifested tgrough paranoid visions during the last evning. My
eyes were playning tricks on me:
*the walls were moving
*i could suddenly see two monitors and two laptops instead of one
*shadows moving on the wall
*could here people who weren there
and lots of other crazy things :)
Ultimately I would like to thank my support team that made it possible for me
to stay awake and to be able to complete my tasky without falling of my feet.
Thanks guys for all the coffe, food and company, but especially for not
allownig me to let it all go straight to hell
