Comments:
40 rocked the first night. I shut the rig off with 1220 QSOs after 10 hours.
Sunday morning started well, but slowly went downhill and became a real chore.
My goal was to spend Sunday evening doing a deja vu on 40. That didn't go too
well. I finally banged a hole on 7196 and settled in for a three hour run,
like Saturday when I had a 150 hour. All was going fine until the relocated
pig farmers from 75 decided to do their 'thing'. One guy hummed non-stop for
over 20 minutes, others threw carriers, played recordings and complained about
contesters. However, I stood my ground and after an hour an a half they
decided to give up. I had no choice since 40 was wall to wall by this time and
there was no place to go. The last hour rocked, but by this time my goal of
2200 was no longer possible. The anti-contest knuckle draggers were out in
force for others too. While clicking on a spot around 14345 I heard some of
the foulest language I've ever heard on the air from one of these
"hams". He was worse than the Kalamazoo cuckoo.
