Comments:
K3, KPA-500, dipole @ 60ft, temporary 2-el wire yagi @ 32ft
Murphy realized he'd missed me for SS CW, so he paid me a visit for SS Phone.
Whenever I would transmit on 15 meters while using my temporary wire yagi, N1MM
would hang, even though the computer kept running. That's weird - RFI in
computers usually results in a complete hang of the OS. I've never seen it take
out a single application. Switching to my dipole solved the problem, but cost me
an S-unit or two.
Other than that, the contest went as expected, meaning it was a struggle. No
traction while running, and lots of missed jump balls. Missed DE, NT, and SB.
