Comments:
There's a saying in the army that if your attack is going extremely well it's
probably an ambush... Well things were going extremely well - until severe
weather arrived early Sunday afternoon and forced a complete shutdown before
the Sweep and cost me a couple of hundred QSO's as I forced to QRT a few hours
ahead of schedule.
On a positive note I did not lose any antennas, even with the peak wind gusts
being measured at 107 K/hr ( 80 K/hr sustained ). So Sunday afternoon was as
exciting ( maybe more so ) as I had envisioned Saturday before the contest had
even started but for different reasons.
Used the same antenna as I did in the CW portion. At least I got a sweep there
:-)
