Hop on, hop off activity with a lot of family activities to do while XYL was
working. But some of this little things like leisurely making a tiramisu with
our younger daughter are so priceless that I would not drop them for
contesting.
So the classic overlay is a really good and healthy move - and I only wonder
why it should not be extended to qrp, which IMHO is such a basic and classic
operation style. With even more qrpers being motivated for a more competetive
operation style they would care more for now difficult hours to get a better
multiplier total.
Without this competetive drive I did not care for improvising a 160m-antenna
and some other extra efforts. But it was fun enough from a start with KP2 on
40m as first qso to reaching the even number with the GI-multi one minute
before the end...
