This year I tried Assisted as my score from last year was not improving any
more. Also I wanted to see what is the real difference in multiplier count
(+200 C and +50 Z). I wanted to be a part of live scoring at cqcontest.ru but
recently I changet computer and at 00:00 it was not working. On Monday I found
out that microsoft net framework needed to be installed.
Seems like 40m was again the money band. I expected more from 15 and 20m, but I
stayed on 10m as long as it was running. On Saturday bands were long opened but
15 and 20m died quite shortly after 10m. On Sunday bands closed few hours
earlier.
I wanted to take a 30 minute nap on Sunday midday as usually. Just had S55OO on
Skype offering me wake up call, but turned him down that I'm fine. Luckily I
woke up as early as 2,5h later with no sense of any clock ringing. Yes, clock
was placed out of my hand's reach.
Quite nice condx with early closing on Sunday. No aurora disturbance to west
coast. I did notice some auroral tone of Z19 stations on Saturday morning on
high bands.
I was very satisfied with MPL count, but when I saw DJ5MW numbers I was
realized much more is possible.
