By Thursday, no antenna. I hastily put up a 90 degree VEE antenna with 42 foot
long legs.It was 18 feet above ground. It has four lobes, and I aimed one at
Europe(40 degrees). The other lobes were at 130,220,310 degrees.
The band was reasonably good, so I could work Europe, Carribean,Oceania, and
Asia. with the antenna so low, I could also work a lot of North American
stations. I finished with a respectable 115 multipliers.
Thanks to everyone who qso'd.
Next time you're caught with no antenna, put up a "Four Leaf Clover"
antenna and have some fun.
