The Daily DX earlier this week reported....
This weekend GW4BLE, Steve, will be running a "fun multi-single"
effort as GW7X in the ARRL 10 Meter Contest from his QTH. Steve is inviting a
few friends around as a 'TU' for work done on his tower in the summer. Some
experienced HF ops, others not-so, hence the 'fun'
element. Logs will be on LoTW, or direct only QSL requests to G8DX.

And so it came to pass...... the guys enjoyed a FUN WEEKEND running Qs and
searching out some juicy DX mults. CW was handled by Jack G8DX, pounding out
the Qs for hours on end (he also sneaked in some SSB too!), whilst Rob GW0RYT
had a ball notching up a great run on SSB to the USA on Saturday afternoon.
Keith GW0ARK, effectively QRT for twenty years, made a welcome return and
spent an hour on the microphone Sunday morning. oh, and did I mention,
station owner 'BLE filled in the gaps here and there even grabbing a 'rare
mult' himself on CW in the final hour. Unfortunately not all the 'tower team'
(GW4TPG, GW7SMV and M3OPG) could make it, and Andy MW0MWZ had an important
engagement - he just got married and left for honeymoon at the weekend (band
planning OM, HI HI).
QRX for the on-line logs, they'll be there just as soon as Andy returns, Jack
G8DX eagerly awaits direct cards for those that need them (see QRZ listing) and
logs will be uploaded to LoTW.
