Comments:
Cannot complain about the score: at this latitude during this time of the year
with light time from sunrise till sunset of 6.5 hours one cannot expect much
more. Propagation was above average, better on Saturday and dropping in Sunday.
The start was slow but then gradually speeded up and topped when stateside
propagation opened. However the latter lasted for about 2 hours both days as
the sun set. Obviously a very different story compared to guys located in
Western or Southern Europe. Not talking about ham paradises like EA8, CT3 or
D4. Luckily, there was a nice light opening in Sunday late evening proving some
West Coast mults otherwize not accessible and making one of the W7's shouting
"What a signal!" and continuing with "QRZ DX?" in the
middle of US pileup.
6/6 el with bottom fixed to US
6 el fixed to east
tribander fixed to EU
and Microham stack switch doing the rest of the job
Thanks for the Q's
73, Rein ES5RW
