FT1000MP, 100W, TH6DXX, dipole, inverted vee, tee vertical. For the first time
in several weeks, there were workable signals on 20M at the start. Heard KW8N
and W4OC, but no QSOs. But had a spot in W3 land and easily worked N3QE and
K3TN plus western stations. On 20 and 40M, kept getting beat out on jump balls
by KZ5D, but couldn't work him until we got to 80. 40M was pretty good except
to LA and N4DW wasn't strong, but workable. Called a weak W9RE repeatedly with
no reply. 80M was good to everywhere. 160M was very active at the end and was
great to work N9RV in MT down there. Lots of new and returning stations after
absences. Welcome to all and hope you will return every week. It's more fun
when there are a lot of stations to work everywhere. 73, John, K4BAI.
