Comments:
There were two stations at Radio Oakley, operated by two guys in their 70s (like
most contesters are these days). We shared the antennas throughout the contest,
so neither of us had optimum band usage, but the objective was to make points
for NCCC. We had several interruptions, mostly software issues and re-cabling
the antenna switching matrix so both could get on all bands. Results:
K3EST SOHP/U SO1R: 1200 Qs, 56 M, 50 C, 127,200 points, 21 hours.
N6RO SOHP/U SO2R: 1780 Qs, 58 M, 68 C, 224,280 pts, 19 hours.
Total points: 351K
Special thanks to N6ML, who set up the K3EST station for RTTY and fixed
(remotely) several software issues before and during the contest.
My mouse hand hurts and my eyes are blurred. Don't know if I'll do this
again!
